Pokemon Gold Silver ROM

Pokemon Gold Silver rom

The Pokemon Gold Silver ROM is available to play for Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). This is a pre-patched version of the game and can be played using the BSNES or HIGAN (SNES) Emulator on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and IOS devices.

About

Pokemon Gold Silver is a bootleg rom hack created by an unknown developer. It was last updated on September 25, 2022.

Pokemon Gold Silver is pre-patched and available to download now.

Also, be sure to check out MegaMan Z.

Additional Information

In Pokemon Gold Silver, you can play as either Chikorita (misspelled “Chokorita”) or Waninoko (Totodile) through a total of four stages and a final boss fight against Mewtwo. Since the game uses the same engine as Digimon Adventure and Pocket Monster, the gameplay is identical in control and physics. Although there is a character select screen at the beginning, the player can switch between characters freely by pressing Select. Chikorita can temporarily fly by tapping A while pressing A as Waninoko makes the screen flash and freeze nearby enemies for a short period.

Aside from enemy and character sprites, most graphics appear to be stolen from various sources. Among the more obvious is the background of Level 2 being taken from the intro of Seiken Densetsu 3 (Trails of Mana), and the entire fourth and final stage being copied from the second level of Pocket Monster II. Some of the enemies including the Butterfree, Pidgeot, and Oddish sprites are also directly from Pocket Monster II, which could mean the game shared the same developers.

Game Genie is the name for a selection of video game enhancers developed by Codemasters and distributed by Galoob in the United States.

Each device provides an opportunity to customize gameplay, allowing players to take advantage of features not originally intended by developers, such as cheating, altering elements within a game, as well as unlocking hidden functions and assets.

To use Game Genie codes on BSNES. Load the rom and head over to the tools tab. Select Cheat editor and insert your game genie code. Ensure the "enable cheats" box is ticked for the codes to take effect.
